The first two pictures show car no. 3 (ex-Accrington)
arriving at the West Shore terminus
and re-loading. Although the West Shore line is single track
with a passing loop, those photos show that two contact wires
were used, one for each direction: presumably to avoid
having overhead switches at the loop.
