The first two photos show cars on the single-track section
at the [19] (old) Brompton
Railway bridge,
which was the boundary between Rhos on Sea and Colwyn Bay.
I'd understood that conductors were not allowed to move along
the running boards (to collect fares)
while the toastracks
were in motion, except when the cars were on the private right-of-way.
But here is a conductor, on the running board, on a paved street!
